As a member of Bridge S p ecialty IT Tea m , you will p ro vide internal su p p ort for technology used by the organization to enhance technology services for our internal users. In this role, you willhave theo p p ortunity to contribute toensuring that a p p lication business needs and p erformance requirements are met. The role requires technical skills across a breadth of technologies. Interaction with both user communities and the technical community is required .
How You Will Contribute:
Design, develo p , and maintain software a p p lications using .NET technologies (C#, AS P .NET, .NET Core, etc.).
Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best p ractices and coding standards.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and p erformance issues.
Collaborate with business and technical subject matter ex p erts to design robust, scalable, and secure a p p lications.
Develo p and o p timize SQL queries, stored p ro cedures, and database structures.
Follow security best p ractices
Document system designs, code, and develo p ment p ro cesses
Identify o p p ortunities for p ro cess im p ro vement and automation.
P erform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Ex p erience to Be Successful:
Bachelor's degree in com p uter science and/or equivalent ex p erience ( P referred)
Ex p erience in P &C Insurance industry ( P referred)
3+ years of ex p erience and understanding with AS P .NET, C#, MVC, Entity Framework, SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored P ro cedures, HTML, JavaScri p t, jQuery, CSS, JSON, XML and XSL
Solid understanding of Database Design and Architecture
Strong p ro blem-solving, analytical, and outstanding customer service orientation
Must be flexible, innovative, self-motivated and able to work with business users and interface with all levels of the com p any, translate business and design goals into an outstanding and highly p erforming user ex p erience for all web-based p ro p erties.
Ability to analyze issues and develo p effective solutions.
Strong verbal and written skills for ex p laining technical conce p ts.
Ability to work inde p endently, with limited required direction and guidance.
P ro fi ciency in Microsoft Office P ro ducts
