About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to be a part of our Wealth Investment Management Technology (WIMT) Platform Engineering team to serve as a Performance Engineer responsible for all phases of performance testing to include planning, designing, scripting, executing, analyzing, and reporting. This is a critical role acts as owner of the performance testing for various concurrent projects. This role requires significant interaction with various technical teams to oversee all performance testing deliverables and activities for large, highly complex projects. In this role, you will:

  • Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business

  • Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutions

  • Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements

  • Drive solutions to reduce recovery

  • Review and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations

  • Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices

  • Design complex system upgrades

  • Resolve troublesome trends as they develop

  • Develop a long range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring

  • Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 4+ years of executing and leading Performance Testing

  • 4+ years of using various Performance testing tools like LoadRunner and/or JMeter/Blazemeter

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of executing Performance Testing in Data Center migration programs

  • 2+ years of scripting languages to create Performance testing utilities/reusable components

  • 4+ years working with App Dynamics, Splunk, Grafana

  • Knowledge of OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) or other cloud experience like PCF

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Position offers a hybrid work schedule

  • Flexibility to be on call beyond normal working hours

  • Ability to work additional hours as needed

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$84,000.00 - $164,400.00
