Job Description
Our client, is seeking a Lead Data Architect to join their team. As a Lead Data Architect, you will be standing up a brand new platform, building from scratch, in house solutions.
Job Title: Lead Data Architect
Location: Woodbridge, NJ - onsite 3 days per week; 2 days remote

Whats the Job?
- Lead working on the data aspect-Very Data heavy-data modeling -data architecture
- Will be building a lot of processes on this application where a lot of data is going to be processed in memory
- Person will be responsible for thinking through how they integrate with the various channels and architect their data model so data lineage and integrity is maintained throughout the lifecycle of the work
- Working the Microservices deployments to figure out how they are going to ingest large amounts of data, how they will be processing data that they dont want to persist
- This is a lead-level, data-centric role focused on architecting high-performance, scalable data solutions for a cloud-native, AI-integrated application. The individual will be responsible for designing and implementing the data model, data architecture, and real-time data processing strategyparticularly around microservices-based deployments that ingest and process large volumes of transient (in-memory) data.
Whats Needed?
- Back end ETL, Alteryx , AI heavy -someone with experience building Gen Ai capabilities on how to source and integrate data-definitely want to look at those candidates
- Java-Docker-negotiable in years of experience. Need only 2 years +.
- The role requires hands-on experience with ETL tools (Alteryx, Talend, Kafka Streams), cloud-native data platforms (GCP, OCP, Snowflake, Databricks), and AI/GenAI-driven data sourcing and integration. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams including Infosec, Infrastructure, and Engineering to ensure data lineage, integrity, and governance are maintained across the application lifecycle.
- The ideal candidate has a blend of data architecture expertise and implementation experience, including backend development, real-time integrations, containerized deployments, and cloud-native practices.
