SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER (Software Engineer 3 - Contingent)

Our client, a leading financial services firm, is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their team. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be part of the software engineering department supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Java Developer

Location: Woodbridge Township, NJ

Pay Range: $60 per hour

What's the Job?

• Design and develop robust applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Implement front-end solutions with Angular, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
• Utilize cloud technologies, particularly OpenShift, for application deployment and management.

What's Needed?

• 3+ years of experience in Java development, specifically with Java 8+ and Spring Framework.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as Angular (7/8), React, and Bootstrap.
• Experience with database technologies including MS SQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools like SonarQube and GitLab.
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.
