Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of real-time communications suite within Oracle Cloud. This role requires a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, automation tools, and security best practices.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
+ Candidate will be responsible for design, deployment, and operations of real-time communications suite within Oracle Cloud
+ In Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Development, candidate will work with architecture team, product development, operations, product marketing, etc. to define, design and develop high availability/highly scalable communications solution.
+ Automate and streamline operations and processes to enhance efficiency.
+ Deploy, monitor, and maintain cloud infrastructure,
+ Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability through effective monitoring and logging.
+ Manage configuration management tools.
+ Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps methodologies into the SDLC.
+ Implement security best practices to safeguard applications and infrastructure.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
+ Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.
+ Maintain documentation related to infrastructure, configurations, and processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
+ Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
+ Experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related roles.
+ Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or other Public Cloud Platforms.
+ Proficiency in automation and scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
+ Development experience in Java and Golang.
+ Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, containerd) including layered image architecture and image optimization best practices.
+ Strong knowledge orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
+ Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
+ Helm charts for Kubernetes application deployment and management.
+ Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
+ Experience with version control systems (Git, GitLab, Bitbucket).
+ Understanding of networking, security best practices, and system administration.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with serverless technologies and microservices architecture.
+ Experience with real-time communications protocols (WebRTC, SIP)
+ Working knowledge of communications transport protocols (TLS/DTLS, SRTP, SCTP, RTSP, RTMP)
+ Knowledge of database management and optimization.
+ Experience with real-time audio/video applications like LiveKit, Twilio, AWS chime a huge plus.
+ Certifications in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or DevOps-related technologies.
+ Experience in performance tuning and disaster recovery planning.
+ Experience managing SSL certificates and DNS records

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
