We're rethinking how AI fits into everyday life - and we're looking for a sharp AI Engineer to help bring it to life.
Role Overview
As an AI Engineer at Nummi, you'll work closely with the founding team to design and deploy core intelligence systems - from vector-based memory to real-time, context-aware agents. You'll be part of the early engineering team, shaping not just product features, but the foundation of what Nummi becomes. This is a 3-month, equity only role with potential conversion to a Full time salaried position. Senior and junior undergraduates are encouraged to apply.
Our Tech Stack
We build with a modern, performance-first stack
Next.js (App Router) for Front End architecture
TypeScript across the stack for safety and speed
Tailwind CSSshadcn/uiRadix UI for beautiful UI at scale
OpenAI/Foundational Models (GPT-4, Claude, etc.)
LangChainPinecone for vector search & contextual memory
Serverless functions for fast and scalable Back End logic
What You'll Work On
Implement AI features like memory graphs, user-specific context, and proactive intelligence
Build and optimize RAG pipelines using vector databases
Design prompt systems and chain-of-thought logic for multi-turn conversations
Collaborate with design and product on user-facing workflows
Move fast, iterate often, and ship with care
What We're Looking For
Solid experience with LLMs and tools like OpenAI APIs, LangChain, Pinecone
Strong grasp of TypeScriptNext.js, and modern web dev principles
Understanding of RAG systems, embeddings, and intelligent agents
A builder mindset - excited by 0?1 product challenges
Bonus: Experience in designing intelligent UI/UX for AI interfaces
