Informatica Developer Location: Pittsburgh, PA- Onsite Job Type: Full-Time Job Description: Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize ETL mappings, sessions, and workflows using Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) .
Understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
Analyze and troubleshoot data integration issues, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and availability.
Collaborate with database administrators, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure high-performance data pipelines.
Perform data profiling , data cleansing , and data validation .
Support data warehousing initiatives and integration with different source systems (SQL Server, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, flat files, etc.).
Develop and maintain parameter files , control tables , and error handling/logging mechanisms .
Create and maintain technical documentation, including mapping documents, data dictionaries, and architecture diagrams.
Monitor ETL jobs and provide support for production workflows, including issue resolution and root cause analysis.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning of ETL processes.
Work in Agile/Scrum environments and follow SDLC best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
3 7 years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter or IICS .
Strong experience in SQL and PL/SQL for data extraction and transformation.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts , star/snowflake schema , and dimensional modeling .
Proficiency in working with RDBMS systems like Oracle , SQL Server , Teradata , or Snowflake .
Experience with scheduling tools (e.g., Autosys, Control-M) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience with performance tuning of ETL jobs and large datasets.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and cloud data integration is a plus.
Familiarity with data governance , data quality tools , and metadata management is desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
