IT Support Specialist

We are a high-growth Electric/Underground Utilities subcontractor based in San Bruno.  We provide regional services including end-to-end construction engineering, and field work for large utility companies.

 

Under the general supervision of the IT Director, the IT Specialist will provide general day to day support to end users including hardware and software related issues and complete requests to end user satisfaction.

 

Items this person would be responsible for include, but are not limited to:

• Configuration of all hardware (Laptop, Printers, Dock station, Cell phone, Hotspot, Tablet etc) for new and existing users.

• Configuration/support software (Office apps, File share, Okta (MFA), VPN, Vista, Adobe etc) for new and existing users.

 

Education and/ or Work Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Some college business/technical courses (helpful but not required)

• Customer service (satisfaction) experience

• Strong organizational and document management skills

• Ability to multitask and maintain effectiveness with multiple priorities

• Professional demeanor; remaining calm and professional under pressure

• Detailed oriented and high attention to accuracy

• Demonstrated written, communication and verbal skills

• Demonstrated Microsoft Office use and hardware repair proficiency
